I was fortunate to meet and interview the owner and co-founder of Omorovicza Cosmetics, Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza recently. In addition to being absolutely charming, he was extremely well versed in skin care ingredients and chemistry. I guess that should be expected since he does own the company however, it has been my experience as a freelance beauty writer that this is not always the case.
Nothing is more beautiful that healthy, radiant skin
As a skin girl at heart, I am a fanatic about proper skin care and my morning and night time skin care regimes are not a far cry from the 10-step Korean skin care regimens. One of the most valuable lessons I have learned in my adult years is the importance of taking care of your skin if you want to look younger, longer. Next year I will turn 50 (dear God that is scary to even say out loud!), and am very proud of the fact that my skin reflects the youth and healthiness that would be more commonly seen in women under the age of 40. This achievement has not been for lack of effort or passion and as a makeup artist, I try to drive the importance of skin care home with all of my clients. Often times, spending more care teaching women how to care for their skin properly than I do in application of makeup. After all, if the skin under the makeup isn’t pretty, there is no amount of makeup that can make it look beautiful in a natural and authentic way.
After my interview with Stephen, I was given several of the newer additions to the Omorovicza line to test personally and share my thoughts. Look for a blog post with my full review next week. Sending peace, love & happiness to all!
