Worship Wednesday featured music video

Losing My Religion is a song from Lauren Daigle’s new album, Look Up Child which debuted at Number 3 on the Billboard 200 with the biggest sales week for a Christian album in nearly nine years.  In a recent interview, Lauren says Losing My Religion is about discovering what she really believes.  How she is embracing the freedom of having childlike faith and letting go of things that muddy up the real meaning of faith.  (Read the article here)  If you have never listened to any of Lauren’s music before I want to encourage you to give this album a listen.  I have listened to it almost every day since it released on September 7th and it has become one of my favorite Christian albums of all time.  Happy listening!

Sending peace, love, and happiness to all!

Lyrics to Losing My Religion

I’ve been an actor on the stage
Playing a role I have to play
I’m getting tired, it’s safe to say
Living behind a masquerade
No more performing out of fear
I’m trying to keep my conscience clear
It all seems so insincere
I’d trade it all to meet You here
I’m losing my religion
I’m losing my religion
Light a match and watch it burn
To Your heart I will return
No one can love me like You do (no no no no no no)
So why would I want a substitute
I’m losing my religion
I’m losing my religion
I’m losing my religion
I’m losing my religion
To find YouI’m losing my religion
And finding something new
Cause I need something different
And different looks like You
I’m losing my religion
And finding something new
Cause I need something different
And different looks like You
I’m losing my religion
I’m losing my religion
I’m losing my religion
I’m losing my religion
To find You
To find You
To find You
To find You
You
